Meet Rashida Ahtsham: Freelance Success Story of A Creative Graphic Designer – What She Struggled & Earned In 2022?

What if you only have 1000 characters or words to tell your story? I am gonna share with you everything you need to get inspired. I am an artist. Yeah! I have a strong grip on Adobe and Graphic Designing tools like Photoshop CS6, Illustrator 15 CC & XD. I’m also an expert in Online Graphic Design Tools Canva & Figma. I can portrait a variety of designs such as logos, social media posts, covers, Ads banners, website Ads banners, and video thumbnails, and edit product images.

This may not be average but this is my real story. And I Am feeling proud to share it with you. You can also Visit my Introduction Video.

I start learning Graphic Design in 2019. Sir Mirza Ahtsham Sugesst me the GFX Mentor Channel Photoshop Playlist in Start.I started Learning Photoshop and Also Start Practicing. Mirza Ahtsham (My Husband) Guided me Step by Step and Day by Day. What to Do Next and How to become perfect in Specific Things. He teaches me My All practice and Trial work is also my Portfolio Work. I Improved My work Day by Day. I polished My Photoshop Skills by Giving it 8 Hours a Day Daily.

I finished my Photoshop in one Month and After it, I do not Stop Practicing. After Finish Photoshop and Learning all the things from Imran Ali Dina Sir. I start Illustrator Tutorials and also start Practicing. I was interested in designing social media Posts, Posters, Banners, Brouchers, Logo Designs, Web Elements, icons, Ads, Commercial Banner, Posters, Standees, Business cards, Resume Designs, and Business Accessories Type Designs. Therefore I practiced to Design this type of Design.

Now I always Optimized All Portfolio Work Images and then Upload them on My Portfolio Website (Rashida Creative Graphic Designer). After showcasing My all Work on the Website he teaches me How to make Social Media Account and How to Optimize all Social Media Existing Account According to the Platform and Google requirements. He Teaches Me how to Build Eco Digital Environment. He Says me When Someone Visit You on any platform and even on your website, if he/she will get your all information from start to end it is called your Eco digital environment is strong now.

After all of this, He Teaches me How to Build my Portfolio in Different Places (Behance – Dribble). He Teaches me Step by step all the things and help me to create an account on Behance and Dribbble and teaches me to Showcase my 1st work. Then I Start Building My portfolio on these two platforms. But Still, I have much work to do on these two platforms. He teaches me Some SEO techniques too. How I can grab my audience to these platforms on my website? he tells me all about our bond and inbound linking of my website. How I can Improve my website On-page SEO.

I teach all these things in 4 to 5 months with real-time practice and day-by-day guidance. After completing 3 Years in this field My Husband say me. Rashida Now time to create digital assets. He Starts Teaching me what is digital Assets and What is the benefit to make digital assets. Digital Assets are you create something unique and attractive digitally and sell it again and again on the internet. It will be a Great Post Design template or any Logo Template Wall Art – Visiting Cards – Resumes – Certificates and Many things have to create as digital assets and sell it on different platforms (Shutterstock–Gumroad – Etsy – Own Website – Locally).

I start Work on Creating Digital Assets. He teaches me how to get Ideas from Different Websites and Then make unique and Attractive designs for my future clients. During Work on these Projects. I saw the video of Rehan Allahwala. In this video, He said All of us Who are Experienced. Start to Teach Others in which you are an expert. Then I Decide to Start my own youtube channel (Graphic Design Wali) and start teaching what I have experienced.

Sir Hisham Sarwar is also looking to say, Puter Jo Teno Anda aye ao Dosran nu Sikha Dy. Therefore I start Worked on it and Start teaching on YouTube. I join the Udemy Platform as Instructor and Upload My Facebook Marketing Course there. If any Student Want to Learn Facebook Marketing and Wants to receive a Certificate too he\she can join this course.

Now I am working on Canva Master Course 13 Videos are Edited and Uploaded on YouTube. It is Ready to Publish But I decide I will Publish all Courses gradually When once This Course all Videos are Completed. I also decide to teach students privately those students do not know how to learn from the internet. They can Join My Canva Master Premium Course from My Website.

Some days ago I shared my story on a Facebook Group and I Receive Many Questions. The Most Common Question Was How I earned in the year 2022? Many Peoples Like my Journey and many Peoples. Before Answering These Questions I want to tell you How Many Clients I grabbed and How many Platforms I use for Finding Clients.

• From LinkedIn Find 15 Clients and Win 8 Projects
• From Fiverr Find 6 Clients and Win 1 Project
• From Upwork Find 5 Clients and Win 1 Project
• From Facebook Find 12 Clients and Win 5 Projects
• From Social Circle Find 10 Clients Win 5 Projects

That’s this way I found 48 clients and Won 20 projects this year from different platforms. This Year I was not Expect Any Earning Because my Focus was on Strong Portfolio and making My Own digital Existence and Creating digital assets for future earnings. However, I Earned this year in 2022 approximately 100k PKR. Now I can Set My Goal for the Next year and the Month. IA
