Who Is Mujahid Farooq and what does he do?
Hey Readers! My name is Mujahid Farooq. I am going to write about Mujahid’s Inspiring Success Story. He’s a young entrepreneur and CEO of a Multinational Software company at the age of just 23 years.
His company is Softileo. He is running 1 branch in London, UK, and 2 branches in Islamabad & Sargodha, Pakistan.
How and where did Mujahid Farooq learn Freelancing?
After completing his Intermediate in 2017, he learned a web development course from a local Institute. In his first semester of graduation, he joined a software house. They used his sincerity to build their academy. He didn’t learn any specific skills regarding his skill web development and he did work there for more than 9 months (non-paid).
When he demanded to have a salary they said you sit free here while he was working for them for free and he was generating good profit for their academy. He felt much broken that day. Mujahid decided that he will never ever do any job again in his life since his sincerity was not appreciated, valued, and misused.
Then he started learning his skills and he learned everything on his own in 2018. He picked up his first freelancing project from the Facebook group Pakistan Freelancers. Its cost was around 6,000 PKR.
Where did Mujahid Farooq create his Freelance startups?
After that, his journey started and he got his first project for $50 from Upwork. Masha Allah purchased a table chair in December 2018 and made a workspace of him at home. He used to do work himself at the home as well he started outsourcing. he even got a project of $3,000 at that time as well.
He worked with Korean and USA clients. Just to clarify, he was doing everything with his studies. In the year 2019, he did a huge effort. His mother died in July 2019. He felt and suffered from depression as well. But he was consistent. He was doing an effort. He was working on Upwork as well as on Fiverr. He started his own software company in Dec 2019 from a Shop of 9ft x 14ft (width x length).
In Sept 2020, MashaALLAH he just made his new office in a Hall of 5 Marla. Moreover, he trained over 35 interns in the year 2020. In covid, he was available full-time to work and he did good growth. In Sept 2021, he started a new branch in Islamabad.
He did put in a lot of effort and now the results were being fetched. He worked 16 hours a day with his studies.
What is Mujahid Farooq’s Lifelong Mission?
He wants to hire 1 Lac people from Pakistan for his company. He’ll start more businesses InshaAllah in the future. He wants to bring billions of dollars from foreign countries to Pakistan.
He’s giving training in web development and freelancing on his YouTube channel.
