Who Is Rimsha Rasheed and What Does She Do?
My name is Rimsha Rasheed, a Medical Student of Dr. of Nutrition Sciences and a Part-time Freelance Creative Content Writer at Fiverr from Lahore, Pakistan.
Rimsha is a Final Year Student of Dr. of Nutrition Sciences. She is a Nutritionist by profession and a Writer by Devotion! Yes, she is a Medical Student and a Part-time Freelance Creative Content Writer.
Putting her thoughts into words has been a part of her routine life since her early teens. But when she jumped into the e-commerce world, she never knew that writing could also be a full-fledged career. That’s why she initially started her freelance journey as an English grammar tutor.
Where Did Rimsha Rasheed Create Her Freelance Startups?
On the 10th of April, 2021, she published her first gig on Fiverr regarding English Grammar Tutoring. Right after publishing, within 30 minutes, she got a text from a client from Saudia Arabia. That client was a blessing; though she didn’t even know how to use Fiverr at that time, she dealt with him by learning everything from YouTube and ended the project with the best 5-star review.
After teaching English Grammar to many students from all over the world for 3 good months, she took a break to polish her skills. She started surfing the internet to gain learning experience about professional content writing. Then, she started offering content writing-related services on Fiverr in July 2021.
She earned $2,000+ by freelancing on Fiverr in 5 months as a beginner. Then, she started giving 1 to 1 sessions on Freelancing through her Instagram with content writing services. Now, five of her students are excelling in the freelancing journey with their skill sets.
In September 2021, she took 2 Masterclasses on LinkedIn Profile Optimization by Touqeer Sarfraz and Salma Noreen and set up her profile on Linkedin right away. After spending 2 to 3 months applying for content writing jobs rather than content creation for self-branding, she started treating herself as a brand, and boom!
Being able to bear all her expenses, including her private university fee and private hostel expenditures, has been her goal as a medical student. And today, she is at the place where she can manage to pay her university fees, hostel dues, and all other expenses by herself.
Most of the clients she is working with are her organic leads from LinkedIn. She has also completed 7 jobs on Upwork with $300+. She says that she has been a bit slower on Upwork because of not found enough time to bid on projects. But Upwork and LinkedIn are her long-term goals, and she believes that consistency matters more than speed!
She has worked with more than 150 clients in less than a year. Currently, she is working as a long-term Content Writer for ProWrites and Reptileszilla with many other local and international clients.
She is also a Vice President of the UMT Freelancers Club and Director of Marketing of UMT Health Club. She started freelancing alone, but now she has a team of 10 amazing content writers, including Sidra Maqsood, Dr. Shama Nosheen, and Hassan Jamal, and she is wholeheartedly grateful to them!
From not being able to pay her expenses to generate 6-figures a month and paying her team members and bearing all her expenses, the journey of financial independence, resilience, and confidence has been amazing for her!

“Hard work and efforts never go unrewarded. If initially, you don’t get results, it doesn’t mean you won’t succeed. Never give up and keep yourself on track with pure intentions. Take care of your parents; their happiness and prayers can make miracles happen for you!”

What are Rimsha’s Post-Graduation Plans?
Rimsha plans to run a digital agency and work as a full-time freelancer on Upwork, offering her profession-related and writing-related services after graduation. She also plans to empower girls on a larger scale to help them become financially independent and confident enough to make their own decisions.
Rimsha’s dream is to travel abroad for higher studies; that’s one of the reasons she fell in love with freelancing because it gives freedom to work from anywhere at any time.
Who Are Rimsha Rasheed’s Mentor, or Who She Credits?
She praises Allah SWT the most for her success, saying that she has strong faith in Allah SWT: throughout the ups and downs of her life, she always found Him SWT nearest to her. Allah SWT never let her stay entangled in any situation for a long time. Allah SWT’s Mercy and Kindness made her believe in His SWT plans blindly. She prays and leaves everything on Him SWT; indeed, whatever He SWT plans is the best.
Her parents and siblings are blessings in disguise. They always believed in her and helped her go the extra mile even when the world was against her. She also pays gratitude to some of her friends, including Mukaram Faiz, Aqsa Kanwal, and Iqra Wakeel.
She says that her roommates (Mahnoor Raza, Raazia Batool, and Aqsa Sanaullah) played a big role in her freelancing journey, and she is abundantly thankful for them.
